Anxiety and depression

Today we are quick to make a decision be it right or wrong. There are cases when we do not realize the importance of words and say things, there are times when a person is basically feeling sad but he may say that he is facing a stage of depression, there are times when person feels strongly worried about any particular incident, that is the time when person says that he is having anxiety attacks. These are different situations and before zero in on something we must check the pros and cons. There are related clinical symptoms that might look same but are not. Most people do not know that anxiety and depression are very much related too each other, and they feel that it is not.

Depression and sadness are different cases and differ according to the intensity that they have. Depression is a state that affects your daily life. The main cause of sadness can be due to something that you didn’t want to happen but depression is mostly heredity and can even happen due to hormonal and even physical changes that occur in a person’s body. Sadness is only for few days if it is, but depression may run for months and even in some cases years too.

There are physical symptoms that are common for people that report depression, these people feel headache, loss of apatite and even lot of fatigue due to depression. These feelings are sometimes so powerful that the may drag a person to abnormal activities.

On the other hand anxiety is described as the state where there are regular feelings that may create panic or even displeasure among the individuals; there are phobias that a person is suffering from. The pain disorders and other fears are also cases that come under anxiety; there are symptoms that can really manifest into bigger problems if they are not treated well on time. There are problems that may occur to persons who are suffering from anxiety these problems are vomiting, shaking, and breathlessness and even increased heart rate and pulse rate.

Doctors believe that anxiety and depression in a person goes hand in hand, people who experience depression might likely experience anxiety too. Experts believe that there are frequent cases where the symptoms of anxiety and depression overlaps and even there are chances that they won’t. There are at least half of the people who experience both depression and anxiety out of the people who are depressed.

The relation between anxiety and depression is quite deep this has given rise to the fact that today when any patient visits doctor for a depression test, there are anxiety related tests to that are done on the patient. There are cases when the depressive state of the patient was actually a state of anxiety and sometimes the case of anxiety was a depression case.

There are feelings of anxiety that at times trigger the depression feelings in a person. The regular feeling of panic can really trigger depression in a person. These symptoms can vary from severe to mild.

It is common today that there are treatments for both anxiety as well as depression you just have to choose what is right for you and just go accordingly. But whatever be the case anxiety or depression always see the doctor well on time so as to get the bull by the horn, because with timely and appropriate treatment these depression and anxiety stages can be easily treated well.
